The short version
Minimal Lift has no account. Your workouts, charts, and progress photos stay on your phone.
This policy covers the app on your device. The public website (this page) uses website analytics, described below — the app itself never sends anything to Google Analytics.
What the app stores
Workout charts (routines), the sets you log, session dates, app preferences, and any progress photos you choose to attach to a session. All of it lives in a local SQLite database and the app's own storage on this device.
What the app sends
Nothing. Minimal Lift does not upload, sync, or back up your data. There are no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and no usage data leaves the device.
Website analytics (Google Analytics 4)
The minimalift.app website uses Google Analytics 4, a measurement service operated by Google, to count visits and see which pages are read. When you browse this site, Google may set cookies and browser identifiers (such as the _ga cookie) and receives browser and device information (for example device type, browser version, screen size, language), the pages you view with their URLs, the referring site, and basic interaction events such as page scrolling.
This website analytics sees nothing from the app: it only runs while you browse this website. No account, workout, session, or progress data is ever part of it, and data collected here is never used to track you in other sites' apps or services beyond standard measurement. Google's own handling of this data is described in their Privacy & Terms: https://policies.google.com/privacy
This website does not currently provide a cookie banner or other consent controls. If you prefer not to be measured while browsing, a browser extension such as Google's official "Google Analytics opt-out" add-on disables Analytics tracking on every site you visit.
Photos and camera
Camera and photo-library access is only used when you attach a progress photo. The image is copied into the app's private storage. Deleting the session or using "Delete all data" removes the file from the device.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, they are scheduled locally by the app to show a running workout timer. No notification content is sent to a server.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete all data permanently removes every chart, exercise, session, set, and progress photo from this device. Uninstalling the app also removes its local database. Because nothing is stored off-device, deletion cannot be undone and there is no backup to restore.
Children
Minimal Lift is a general-purpose fitness log, not directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If a future version changes how data is handled, this page will be updated before that version ships. The current policy always reflects the app installed on your device.
